About the Training

The Child Trafficking Awareness Course provides a foundational understanding of child trafficking, how it occurs, and the tactics traffickers use to recruit, manipulate, and exploit children. Participants will learn to recognize potential indicators, understand common risk factors, and explore safe, appropriate ways to respond when concerns arise. This course is designed to promote informed awareness, responsible observation, and a greater understanding of the role communities can play in helping identify and disrupt child trafficking.  For those who wish to take the next step, successful completion of this course qualifies participants to apply for enrollment in the Child Protection Intelligence Network (CPIN) course, where they can learn how to responsibly apply their training within a structured network dedicated to supporting efforts to disrupt child trafficking.
